i'm doing great bro
Can you brief us a little bit about yourself actually, family background, school and all that?
well my real name is Miraculous Nwaka, born to a father who is from Delta state and mother who is from Adamawa. i was born in Lagos state and grew up mostly in Lagos. i attended many primary schools due to the nature of my Dad's work, because he is a pastor but i did my secondary school education in Faith Academy and attended Covenant University.
How did you come about the name 4RUNNER?
well before the name 4runner i tried coming up with different stage names like Mysteri, G-cat... but i actually had to pray about a name and i ended up with 4runner which symbolises announcing the kings love and setting the pace which i am gradually working towards
How has the summer been for you and your music?
well it has been awesome, promoting the music has been great and i have been getting a lot of positive feedback which gives me joy knowing that i was able to serve the listening audience.
And for how long now have you been on microphone, (the music industry/the rap game)?
i would say i took it seriously when i was in secondary school, i was part of a rap group called G-hood and we performed at most of our social nights. so i would say from the age of fourteen i got serious with the mic
How has the road been so far till date?
it has been one of growing in my knowledge about music and developing myself to make better music and perform better on stages
Any major challenge slowing down the pace of things?
well a major challenge was school, having to drop the music when it was time for school and then dust my note pad when it was time for a vacation but i'm a graduate now so that should not be a problem anymore
So what actually motivates you to go through the hustle?
sometimes my life experiences, some great people around me plus the ones that have succeeded and the future i see
You just released a mix tape recently, The infiltration, can you tell us the whole spirit or say ginger behind the mix tape?
well the infiltration EP is meant to act as a pushing factor, the solution to the worlds problem is people, people like you, those reading the interview and me. The whole theme behind the EP is moving out of your comfort zone to make a difference because there is no fun in the comfort zone
Any previous mix tape before this?
yeah i released one on my graduation day from secondary school, it was titled "Stand up" and it had five songs
So what’s your favorite track on your own EP, I mean “The Infiltration”?
Lol wow that is a tough one because the different songs speak to me differently but i would say i have 3 favourite songs there; Focused, New Sight and Nts freestyle.
Lol! If I may ask, Are you in anyway related to Henrisoul?
at all man Lol we are just very good friends, one of my friends first introduced us to each other and we were good to make good music together. He is an awesome dude.
Heard you’re an eagle of covenant university, how actually where you able to put music and academics together, as well as other social stuff and still come out as strong as this?
well i devoted my holidays to making good music and developing myself and when i was in school i focused fully on school work. so i guess it was all about prioritising.
So, what artistes do you look forward to working with as you grow, both locally and foreign?
Lol! We all know you’re obviously going to go international sooner or later.
wow a lot, well locally i would like to work with Nneka, Simi, and the rapper boogey. While internationally i would like to work with Lecrae, Andy Mineo, Sarkodie and the producer Tyshane just to name a few.
So can you give us your top 5 rapper list, locally and internationally?
well Locally, i would say M.I, Boogey, i might have to put sarkodie in this section so Sarkodie, modenine and Eva. Internationally, Lecrae, Eminem, Kendrick Lamar, Andy mineo, John Givez
Okay, and what sort of “EFFECT” do you want to have on the music industry as a whole?
i want to do experimental music that would inspire musicians in the industry to try something new.
Great idea, So what else should we be expecting from 4Runner, since we all got the EP already?
after the Ep, a debut album, then another album and then a mixtape by Gods grace.

when you try to be different, you never really are alone, it is only a matter of time before an army joins you so dare to lead by first being a follower of people that can elevate you.
